The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Music Boosters Rob O’Connor Memorial Scholarship Award was created and named in honor of the late Rob O’Connor, a longtime dedicated volunteer of the Music Boosters and a Co-president from 2016-18.  This award recognizes outstanding leadership and service within the music program, reflective of Mr. O’Connor’s extensive record of commitment and his efforts to promote esprit de corps among fellow musicians. These factors were considered for this year’s award recipients.

Eligibility

• Must be a graduating senior at Scotch Plains - Fanwood High School or UCVTS having participated in SPFHS music program for at least one year (includes any academic or extracurricular instrumental or vocal music ensemble offered by the SPFHS music department).

• The applicant’s family must be a paid member of SPFMBA for the current school year as of September 1, 2025.
